All Time Snack - Akuri
Fine Chop 1 onion (medium size), tomato (medium size), 1 chilly and little coriander. Take a pan and heat in it 2 tablespoons of oil. Put the chopped onions in the oil and fry the onions on a medium flame till they are slightly pinkish brown. Then put the tomatoes in to the pan and the stir. Break 2 eggs in a dish to it add 2 tablespoons of milk, chopped chilly and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste, beat it with a fork and then put it in the pan. Keep stiring till the eggs cook and stop sticking to the base and sides of the vessel. Remove the eggs in a plate and garnish with chopped coriander. Serve hot.A cool drink to keep the heat away.
Take 2 bottles of limca 3/4 teaspoon of Lemon juice and 2 tablespoon of vanilla ice cream. Mix all these in a liquidiser. Decorate with mint leaves and slice lemon. Top with crushed ice and serve.A Jelly for you to Taste.
Take 1 packet of orange jelly, to it add 1 bottle of mirinda. Cook on a slow flame till the jelly has melted. Keep aside to cool. Take 1 family pack of vanilla ice cream and beat it into the jelly/mirinda mixture with an electric beater. Beat for at least 15 minutes. Then set it in small bowls, freeze and then decorate with gems and a little beaten fresh cream to serve. Papad Poha
Fry or roast 2 to 3 papads and then crumble them and set them aside. Then fry or roast ¼ cup of poha till it becomes pinkish brown, then mix it with the crumbled papad. To it add salt to taste, a pinch of turmeric power and chilly powder and little sugar. Mix the ingredients in a pan and heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Garnish with a little coriander and serve hot.
